Bangr Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website and services.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide our services. What we collect depends on whether you are using our website or our mobile app.

From our mobile app (if you create an account):

• Name: The name you provide when registering.
• Email Address: Used to create and secure your account and to communicate with you.
• Date of Birth: We collect your date of birth to confirm your eligibility to play and to determine whether you are old enough to win prizes (see "Children's Privacy" and our Official Prize Rules). We use it for age verification and do not use it for advertising.
• Gameplay Data: Information about your activity in the app, such as predictions made, points earned, and challenges entered, which is needed to operate the game and determine winners.

From our website:

• Usage & Analytics Data: We use Vercel Web Analytics and PostHog to understand how our website is used (for example, which pages are visited and which links are clicked). Both are configured to be cookieless: they do not set cookies or store data in your browser for tracking, do not record your session, and do not build an advertising profile of you. Because our PostHog setup uses no browser storage, each page load is treated as a new anonymous visit rather than being linked to you over time. These services process limited technical information (such as the page route, referrer, general device and browser type, and campaign parameters from a link you followed) to produce aggregate statistics. We strip identifiers from page URLs before they are sent, and we do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

Our website does not have account registration or data-entry forms; if you wish to reach us, you do so by emailing one of the addresses listed on our Contact page.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Send you updates, newsletters, and promotional communications (with your consent)

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

California Privacy Rights

Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To submit a data deletion request, please visit our Data Deletion page for instructions. We will process your request within 30 days and send you a confirmation once your data has been removed.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics providers (Vercel Web Analytics and PostHog) are configured to be cookieless and do not store information in your browser for tracking purposes. We may use strictly necessary cookies only where required for core functionality of the website or app. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the service function.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret DNT signals, we do not respond to them differently at this time. However, we do not track you across third-party websites or services, and we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at privacy@bangr.app and we will delete it.

Users who are 13 or older may play Bangr, but you must be 18 or older to be eligible to win prizes. Users between 13 and 17 may play for fun but are not eligible to receive prizes. See our Official Prize Rules for full eligibility details.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
