These Official Prize Rules ("Rules") govern the prize challenges offered within the Bangr mobile application and services (the "App") operated by Bangr Inc. ("Bangr," "we," "our," or "us"). By participating in any Bangr prize challenge, you agree to these Rules and to the decisions of Bangr, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the challenges and prizes. These Rules supplement Bangr's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to participate in a Bangr prize challenge or to win a prize. Bangr is free to download and play. Buying anything, including any optional feature, will not improve your chances of winning. All prize challenges are open to eligible participants at no cost.
Bangr is a game of skill, not chance. Participants earn points by making accurate predictions about live sporting events and by demonstrating knowledge, timing, and consistency. Winners are determined by relative skill and performance, not by random drawing. No wagering, betting, or staking of money is involved, and no cash payouts are offered.

The specific point values and scoring for a given challenge are shown in the App. The participant with the most points at the end of a challenge, subject to eligibility and these Rules, is the winner.
If two or more eligible participants finish a challenge with the same number of points, the tie will be broken by skill, in this order: (a) the participant with the higher percentage of correct predictions in that challenge; and, if still tied, (b) the participant with the faster cumulative response time on correct predictions. Ties are never broken by random chance.
To be eligible to win a prize, you must:
Participants who are at least 13 but under the age of majority in their state of residence (a "minor") may participate and claim prizes only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to these Rules on the minor's behalf. Bangr may require proof of parental or guardian consent before awarding a prize to a minor.
Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Bangr Inc. and of any prize sponsor, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and household members of each, are not eligible to win prizes.
Prize challenges are open only to eligible residents of the United States. Prize challenges are void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation and prize fulfillment may not be available in all locations, and you are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Prizes and their approximate retail value ("ARV") are described in the App for each individual challenge. Prizes may include items such as free food, gift cards, merchandise, or discounts provided by local businesses or other sponsors. The ARV of a prize represents Bangr's good-faith estimate at the time the challenge is offered; the actual value may vary, and no compensation will be provided for any difference between the ARV and the actual value.
Many Bangr prizes are provided and fulfilled by third-party sponsors, such as local businesses (for example, "Today's 5th Inning Challenge prize is provided by Joe's Pizza"). The applicable sponsor for a prize is identified in the App. The sponsor, not Bangr, is responsible for supplying and honoring the prize. Bangr administers the challenge and delivers the prize notification but is not responsible for a sponsor's failure to fulfill a prize, though we will make reasonable efforts to help resolve any issue.
Winners are notified within the App. To claim a prize, the winner will receive a unique prize code or voucher in the App, which is redeemed with the identified sponsor (in person or as otherwise stated with the prize). Each prize must be claimed and redeemed within the claim window shown with that prize. If a prize is not claimed or redeemed within the applicable window, if a winner cannot be verified, or if a winner is found to be ineligible, the prize may be forfeited. Winners are responsible for any taxes that may apply to a prize.
Prizes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, redeemed, or paid out for cash. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, or transferred except as expressly permitted by Bangr. Bangr reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
Bangr is committed to fair competition. Bangr reserves the right to disqualify any participant and to void points, entries, or prizes at any time if it reasonably believes a participant has:
Any attempt to deliberately undermine the fair operation of a challenge may be a violation of law, and Bangr reserves the right to pursue all available remedies.
Because live broadcasts may be delayed or timed differently for different viewers, Bangr times questions and locks predictions in a manner intended to keep gameplay fair and to avoid unfair advantages. Bangr's determinations regarding timing, scoring, and results are final.
By participating, you release Bangr Inc., its sponsors, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense arising out of participation in a challenge or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Prizes are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, except as required by the sponsor or by law.
Bangr's prize challenges are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any professional or amateur sports league, team, or governing body, or with any broadcaster. All league, team, and event names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
Bangr may update these Rules from time to time. We will post the updated Rules on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. The version of the Rules in effect at the time you participate in a challenge governs that challenge.
